ARCHELON (Greece)
ARCHELON, the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece, has been carrying out monitoring and nest protection projects for 20 years on the beaches of Greece. The official site for ARCHELON has been under construction (for about a year!). I recommend you also try the unofficial site (associated with TotEM!).

Cyprus Turtle Conservation Project (Cyprus)
There is no official site (that I can find) for the work carried out on the Akamas peninsular on Cyprus (Lara project), this one is the best I could find to promote it.

Episkopi Turtlewatch (Cyprus)
Episkopi Turtlewatch are a volunteer organisation simply working in turtle conservation around the western sovereign base area (WSBA) of Cyprus (South coast). We work with guidance from Dr Andreas Demetropoulos at the Lara Project.

Darwin Initiative Marine Turtle Project - Egypt (Egypt)

This a telemetry project from the Department of Ethology, Ecology, Evolution - University of Pisa. Through seaturtle.org they are tracking a rehabilitated male loggerhead turtle, named Bepi.

Marine Turtle Research Group (Cyprus)
"Since 1992, under the supervision of Drs. A.C. Broderick and B.J. Godley, over 200 students and staff from British universities have taken part in the annual monitoring and conservation of marine turtles in Alagadi, Cyprus. Work is carried out at the request and in conjunction with members of the local Society for the Protection of Turtles."

Sea Turtle Research Team (Turkey)
"The Sea Turtle Research Team (STRT) has been made up of students of Hacettepe University, Department of Biology and coordinated by Dr. Ali Fuat Canbolat. The main objective of STRT is to ensure the conservation of sea turtles (Caretta caretta and Chelonia mydas) nesting on the Mediterranean beaches of Turkey that are potentially in danger of becoming extinct.
