Nesting Beaches - UNDER CONSTRUCTION

ARCHELON has undertaken conservation projects on Zakynthos, Peloponnesus and Crete for over 10 years. Each project comprises monitoring and public awareness (P.A.) components. The monitoring involves recording nests, protecting them from the prevalent dangers and tagging nesting females. Public awareness activities involve making presentations at hotels, public meetings and at ARCHELON's dedicated envrionmental centres, also by providing information through ARCHELON's Information Stations which are set-up at each project site.
